CII Young Indians Raipur Chapter organized Annual Meeting 2019-20,  1 February 2020, Raipur

Young Indians Raipur Chapter organized its Annual Meeting on 1 February 2020 at Raipur. In the Annual Session, Mr Tarang Khurana, Chair, Yi Raipur Chapter briefed the members on the projects undertaken by Yi Raipur Chapter in the year 2019-20. Key projects like Project Masoom on sensitizing children against Child Sexual Abuse, Project Saheli for creating awareness for Women Health, Hygiene and Self Defense, Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign Awareness drive for Road Safety were highly appreciated by the members.

During the current year Yi Raipur Chapter also organized Manar 2.0 Fundraiser for Mission Blackboard which aims in improving infrastructural facility in the Government Schools. During the year the Rural Initiative vertical team completed several projects which targeted improvement of Infrastructural facility in the Rural parts of Raipur District, organized Health Camps and workshops for improvement of Children, Women Health and Hygiene.

Mr Kartik Shah, National Vice Chairman, Young Indians, addressed the gathering and briefed that Yi Nationally has scaled new heights in membership for Yi and YUVA with 3200 Yi members, and 21000 YUVA across 46 Chapters.

In International front, Yi provided opportunities for members to learn and explore opportunities through very successful missions to China, UK, South Korea and Israel apart from the annual delegation to the G20- Young Entrepreneurs Alliance Summit, which this year was held in Fukuoka, Japan. Mr Shah also invited members to participate in Yi’s Annual Take Pride and National Annual Day to be held on 9-10 February 2020, at CIDCO Convention Centre, Navi Mumbai.

Mr Shashank Nathani, Owner of Balaji Corporation, Raipur was appointed as the Chair of Yi Raipur Chapter. Mr Nathani is aged 34 years and he has completed his schooling from Rajkumar College, Raipur and holds degree of Master’s in Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. As an entrepreneur he likes to devote his commitments for business, family and society, he co-founded OVOT Pvt Ltd, India’s first national distributors for white good industries.  He has been associated with Young Indians, Raipur Chapter in various capacities from the past 5 years.

Mr Prateek Shukla, Partner of K S Minerals, Raipur was appointed as the Co-Chair of Yi Raipur Chapter. Mr Shukla is aged 31 years and he has completed graduation from University of Pune now working as a Partner in KS Minerals. He is keen to fitness, likes to do jogging and maintain fitness.  He has been associated with Young Indians, Raipur Chapter in various capacities from the past 2 years.
