Raipur: The entire state is immersed in an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm as people celebrate the auspicious festival of Diwali. On this special occasion, Chhattisgarh Tennis Association General Secretary and Grand Group Chairman Gurucharan Singh Hora extended his heartfelt Diwali greetings and best wishes to all the people of the state. He wished everyone a happy, prosperous and bright future, stating that Diwali brings new energy, enthusiasm and positivity into our lives.
In his festive message, Gurucharan Singh Hora said that Diwali is not merely a festival of lighting lamps and celebrating happiness; it symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, truth over falsehood and hope over despair. The festival inspires us to move forward with mutual love, brotherhood, harmony and unity. The illumination of lamps reminds us that no matter how many challenges life presents, every difficulty can be overcome with hope and a positive attitude.
He emphasized that Diwali holds a special place in Indian culture and traditions. The festival brings families together, strengthens relationships and promotes social harmony. He expressed his wish that every home be filled with happiness, every family enjoy peace and prosperity, and new opportunities for growth and success open up for everyone.
Hora made a special appeal to the people to celebrate Diwali in accordance with Indian culture and traditional customs. He encouraged everyone to light traditional earthen lamps (diyas) in their homes to preserve India’s rich heritage and appreciate the hard work of local potters. Purchasing earthen lamps will provide financial support to potters and their families, allowing them to share in the joy of the festival. He said that the true spirit of Diwali lies in ensuring that its light reaches every section of society and brings happiness to the lives of potters as well.
Sharing a message of compassion, Hora urged people to celebrate Diwali by spreading happiness among those in need. He said that the true significance of festivals lies in bringing smiles to the faces of others. Everyone should come forward, according to their capacity, to support economically weaker sections and underprivileged families. Lighting a lamp of happiness in the home of someone in need is also a beautiful and meaningful way of celebrating Diwali. Even a small gesture can make the festival memorable for an entire family.
Hora further said that Chhattisgarh is known for its rich cultural heritage, brotherhood and social harmony. He expressed his hope that the state’s unity and prosperity would continue to grow and that Chhattisgarh would achieve new milestones in development and progress. He prayed to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha to shower their blessings on every family in the state and bless everyone with happiness, peace, good health and prosperity.
Concluding his message, Gurucharan Singh Hora appealed to the people of Chhattisgarh to celebrate Diwali with love, enthusiasm and joy, preserve Indian traditions and share happiness with those in need.
